“Icone di carta” by Mimmo Rotella

The exhibition “Paper Icons,” a solo show by internationally renowned artist Mimmo Rotella, is set in the prestigious exhibition space of Palazzo Parasi in Cannobio and is curated by Gaspare Luigi Marcone, with the patronage of the Mimmo Rotella Foundation.
The exhibition is a distilled collection of works covering a period of about fifty years, from the 1950s to 2004. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire the first examples of retro d’affiches and décollages from 1954-1955 to the works from the “Cinecittà cycle,” which the artist began in the late 1950s and developed with various approaches and subjects until the end of his career.
